Research Practices: Phil Ayres – 1500 Thursday 8th April

Phil (Afd.2 – EK & CITA) will be presenting his research which identifies and examines particular potentials arising from the adoption of digital technologies into the practice of architecture. This research reconsiders the relationship between architectural representation and architectural artefact, and proposes a design paradigm called the Persistent Model.

Research Practices is a new informal forum to encourage lively discourse framed around presentations by researchers operating within, and at the fringes of, the architectural project. Future presentations will start promptly at 1600 each Friday in the EK studio – this is an exception. All (and beers) are welcome – please spread the word.
