Hey, check out this bridge they’re building on a bastion in Vittoriosa using the most vernacular of Maltese materials: heavy timber.  Did I somehow miss the vast forests of massive trees on our visit?  Yes, I’m a cynical bastard.

Welding!

There is a STOP and maybe GO on all welding activities in the workshop! Anybody who would like to be able to weld must have a so called §26-course. It takes one day / 7 hours and coasts 150 dkk. There are official courses on Oct. 28th; Nov. 25th; Dec. 16th 2010. It is also possible to make a special arrangement by contacting Nazma Hussain – mail: nh@tec.dk or phone: 3817 7783. The courses will take place in Ballerup, (Cph. surburbia).
